Our owner and birth doula, @yourdoulagrace recently supported a family at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert with a water birth helped them create this soothing and serene birth space!

Our advice:

Ever cried over a shipping label and then immediately had the best business idea of your life? Yeah, same. 🤦‍♀️

Running a business is a lot.
Some days it’s stressful.
Some days it’s fighting with Amazon, racing back and forth across the city dropping off birth pool kits before dayhome pick up… emails, snacks, and wondering what in the world I was thinking when I ordered 600 birth balls.

One of the most underrated peanut ball positions for pelvic opening and progress in labour!

This one’s especially helpful when:
✔️ You have an epidural
✔️ Baby is sitting high
✔️ You want to avoid back labour
✔️ You need rest and rotation

Place the peanut ball between the legs (angled like a saddle), stack pillows behind you for comfort if needed and let gravity do its magic.

Movement matters even when you’re resting.
Your body still knows what to do.
